Who We Are
Mission :Established 2021, At Sage Nation Society, we are dedicated to supporting BIPOC and Indigenous youth in Turtle Island. We create safe spaces and provide critical resources such as housing, employment, income, and cultural support. We work with the seven sacred teachings to promote healthy communities and fight against racism.
Sage Nation Society was established by frontline workers who conducted research, experienced firsthand, and witnessed service gaps for indigenous/Bipoc youth who are transitioning out of care. The organization's strength is derived not only from the principles it espouses but, more importantly, from the actions of its initiatives. Since its inception in the Downtown Eastside community, the organization has recognized that by working collaboratively, it can more efficiently overcome the challenges it faces, which is why it ultimately decided to launch the Sage Nation Society. The organization is committed to making a positive impact in all of its endeavors.
\Sage Nation Society now offers elder care and children's respite programs to meet growing demand for support services.
